Dear Friends, 

 

After thirteen years, Forcier Consulting has decided to cease operations in all locations. I feel proud to have accomplished our goal of building local capacity for research and evaluation that we set out to achieve. I feel confident that our impact on the industry has been positive, and our vision continues on through the work of our staff who have started their own companies and consult on an individual basis. 

 

After careful reflection, I believe this is the right time to pass the torch to more localized firms who are more deeply embedded in their respective communities. When Forcier was founded in 2011 it filled a specific need. That need no longer exists. I am proud to be replaced by South Sudanese, Mozambican, Kenya, Congolese, Somali, Egyptian, Jordanian and Iraqi researchers. I trust that they will continue the work we began and provide even more innovative and valuable insights to the humanitarian aid and development community. 

 

I am incredibly grateful for the support and trust our clients have given Forcier over the years. I will always be indebted to the countries who hosted us and allowed us to work on the ground and build partnerships. Founding this company has been an incredible life changing and enriching experience, and I continue to build upon what I learned from Forcier Consulting every day. I hope that everyone who has worked alongside me continues to do great things and finds ways to provide research and data that makes the world a better place.
